Albert Carlton Latham and his Sister Alma.  Their mother died giving birth to Albert, so Albert was given to Thomas Henry Latham and his wife, Katherine Orrilla (Smith) Latham to raise. Alma was given to Clarence Latham to raise.  There is a big question as to who their mother and father were.  One story is that they are the children of Albert F. Latham and Julia Smith, Julia being the sister of the Katherine Smith that married Thomas Henry Latham.  Another story is that they are the children of Charles Merrill Latham and Emily (Harlow) Latham.  Charles Merrill Latham remarried and had several other children, a descendant of whom I got the 2nd story from.
